The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course is designed for site managers and aspiring managers in the construction industry who are responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, and controlling work on site. Aligned with CITB standards and HSE guidance, the course provides in-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice required to manage construction activities safely and effectively.
Learners will gain a strong understanding of risk assessments, method statements, accident prevention, toolbox talks, and leadership responsibilities. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to promote a positive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, and manage sites in a way that protects workers, contractors, and the public.

Course Certification
The course is broken down in to an introduction and modules for easy learning. At the end of each module, you will be given 5 question based on the information given.
You will need to get 4 out of 5 (80%) questions right. You will only be able to move on to the next section once you achieve this pass mark. You can re take the test as many times as you need.
This course has been certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download and print your certificates from your dashboard.
The time it has taken to complete this course is not reflected on the certification.
