The PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) Training course provides construction workers, supervisors, and managers with the knowledge to ensure that all work equipment is used safely and in compliance with UK law. In line with HSE guidance, this training explains the legal responsibilities for selecting, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, as well as ensuring that only trained and competent people operate it.
Learners will understand how PUWER applies to a wide range of construction equipment — from power tools and machinery to site vehicles — and the importance of risk assessments, guarding, and safe systems of work. By the end of the course, participants will be able to recognise their responsibilities under PUWER, reduce equipment-related risks, and help maintain a safer and more compliant construction site.

Course Certification
The course is broken down in to an introduction and modules for easy learning. At the end of each module, you will be given 5 question based on the information given.
You will need to get 4 out of 5 (80%) questions right. You will only be able to move on to the next section once you achieve this pass mark. You can re take the test as many times as you need.
This course has been certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download and print your certificates from your dashboard.
