Noise Awareness Training for Construction

The Noise Awareness Training course provides construction workers and supervisors with the knowledge needed to recognise and control the risks associated with excessive noise on site. In line with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and HSE guidance, this training explains how long-term exposure to high noise levels can cause permanent hearing damage, stress, and reduced concentration, increasing the risk of accidents.

Learners will gain an understanding of safe exposure limits, how to identify noisy tasks and equipment, and the correct use of hearing protection such as earplugs and earmuffs. The course also covers employer and employee responsibilities, health surveillance, and practical measures to reduce noise risks at source. By the end, participants will be able to take proactive steps to protect their hearing and contribute to a safer, healthier construction environment.
