The Disability in the Construction Industry course helps workers, supervisors, and managers understand how to create an inclusive, accessible, and legally compliant working environment. Aligned with the Equality Act 2010 and HSE guidance on workplace adjustments, the course explores the barriers disabled people may face in construction and how simple, practical changes can improve access, safety, and participation.

Learners will gain insight into different types of disabilities, how to provide reasonable adjustments, and the importance of respectful communication and inclusive site design. By the end, participants will feel more confident in supporting disabled colleagues, visitors, and contractors, helping to build a fairer and more inclusive construction industry.
