Manual Handling Training for Construction

The Manual Handling Training course equips construction workers with the knowledge and techniques to lift, carry, and move loads safely, reducing the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. In line with HSE guidance and the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, this course highlights the common risks associated with poor manual handling practices on site, such as back strains, sprains, and long-term damage.

Learners will explore safe lifting techniques, the importance of assessing loads before moving them, and when to use mechanical aids or ask for assistance. The course also covers employer and employee responsibilities in managing manual handling risks. By the end, participants will be able to apply safer working practices, protect their health, and contribute to a safer construction environment.
