The Spill Management Training for Construction course provides workers and site managers with the knowledge and skills to deal effectively with spills of hazardous or polluting substances on construction sites. Following HSE and Environment Agency guidance, the course highlights the common causes of spills, such as fuel, oil, and chemical leaks, and explains how these incidents can harm people, damage equipment, and cause serious environmental pollution if not managed correctly.

Learners will gain practical understanding of spill prevention measures, correct use of spill kits, containment methods, and safe clean-up procedures. By the end of the course, they will be able to respond swiftly and safely to spill incidents, minimise environmental impact, and ensure their site remains compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
